to highlight events and programs that make the game of hockey inclusive
to all no matter your age, background or physical capabilities.

During the 2017 Da Beauty League Playoff night, 12 NHL players and 12 MN Special Hockey players with intellectual disabilities paired up into two teams comprised each of 6 NHL + 6 Special Hockey Athletes in a showcase exhibition
game demonstrating the skill of the special athletes and that the sport of hockey is truly for everyone!

[ U.S. POND HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIPS SHOWCASE ]
On January 25, 2018, the US Pond Hockey Championships hosted their annual Youth Night of open play on the frozen Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis, MN. For the first time, Green Youth Sports Alliance and partners welcomed athletes from the disabled hockey community MN Sled Hockey and MN Special Hockey along with the DinoMites program of Minneapolis to participate in an evening celebration of Hockey Is For Everyone.
